Its been pretty warm for the most part the last couple weeks so we have been doing a bunch of outside. We taught savannah how to ride a bike :)
All of our smith cousins were in town the last couple of weeks. My girls love having kids to play with. We are super excited that Trevor and their 5 kids will be moving very close to us this summer.
Anavy had her tonsils taken out last week... she did great with the pain for the first day- then she had an allergic reaction to her antibiotic and later found out it was that and her lortab also. SSo she had a few days of itching- also she woke up bleeding from her mouth quite a bit a couple days ago so she spent from about 10 till 3 in the morning in the ER. Everything ended up being ok.
Anavy got new glasses. She is really liking them, probably because she can see out of her right eye now.
Brett's little brother Nate got married on Friday. They girls looked adorable. We had a fun time with all the little cousins.
My sister Macy came to town for her annual volleyball tournament at the U so we went to watch on Saturday and then spent some time with her. Its always fun to have her around and they girls love her.
This week is spring break so Monday and Tuesday we went over to the library for discovery time (singing, dancing, books, crafts) which the girls loved!
Last night, we put the girls down like usual around 7:30. Not an hour later we had Anavy and Savannah throwing up in their beds. Yhis continued over the next few hours until we had gone through 8 or so pairs of pajamas, every toddler sheet I own, 2 twim sheets and banet after blanket after blanket. Apperantlywe got it from trevors kids, who got it from Mandi's kids, who got it from their cousin on the other side. We in turn gav it to a bunch of neighborhood friends when we had a play group on Monday- They all ended up sick and their parents too.... so I feel bad. But I had no idea my kids were sick on Monday. YUCK.
But other than that, they are happy as usual...

The pukies are the worst! I am so sorry (I know this post was a while ago, but I am slow). When our kids get sick we stick them on the bathroom floor on a good thick towell. That way when they get sick everywhere all we have to wash is a load of towells. Also our doctor told us a trick with benidryl (sp?). He said that often their stomaches get in reflex mode so no matter what goes in them it will instantly come back out. So you have to put their stomachs "to sleep" with a dose (or double dose) of benidryl. They usually throw up most of it, but enough stays to help the reflex stop. It works like a miracle most of the time.
